A man and a woman are wondering through varying landscapes.
They move on the threshold of natural existence and brutality.
They are trying to grasp…. Something…
A man and a woman as an archetype .
A man and a woman like you and me.
Young couple who wants to conquer the world, or at least to build in it a
home.
They are coming to the theater to settle down . Actions and moves from the
reality of the Israeli occupation are copied and reflected in private and
romantic spaces. The boundary between the pedestrian and the theatrical,
between reality and fantasy are undermine .
They are imprisoned in their primal urge for a place, for possession.
The work deals with borders, the need to demarcate them, their negation and
their absurdity.
The point of departure is the act of urinating. A simple and everyday act.
Urinating is a physical need on the one hand, and a violent, and at times even
insulting, territorial act on the other. It is an action that encompasses the
gender binary and destabilizes the separation between inside and outside
both within the anatomical formation and the presentation of an intimate
gesture in the public domain
